Government Medical College (GMC), Washim is a newly established government medical college in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. It was established in 2024 by the Government of Maharashtra to improve medical education and healthcare services in the district. The college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), and functions under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra. It admitted its first MBBS batch in the 2024–25 academic session.
