Government Medical college and District Hospital, Ratnagiri

Government Medical College & District Hospital (GMCDH), Ratnagiri is a new government medical college established by the Government of Maharashtra to strengthen medical education and healthcare services in the Konkan region. The college was established in 2023 and is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. It is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and functions under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra. The institute admitted its first MBBS batch in the 2023–24 academic session with 100 MBBS seats.
