Government Medical College, Mumbai

Government Medical College (GMC), Mumbai, popularly known as Government Medical College, GT Hospital, is one of Maharashtra's newest government medical colleges. It was established by the Government of Maharashtra under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) to expand MBBS education in Mumbai. The college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It is attached to the historic Gokuldas Tejpal (GT) Hospital and Cama & Albless Hospital, providing students with excellent urban clinical exposure.
