Government Medical College, Jalna

Government Medical College (GMC), Jalna is a new government medical college in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. Established in 2024, the college was created to expand access to quality medical education and strengthen healthcare services in the region. It is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), and functions under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra. The college admitted its first MBBS batch in the 2024–25 academic session with 100 MBBS seats.
